Please read if you have applied to art school! I need your help!

I'm applying to a pre-college program at the Cooper Union and i have a portfolio review and interview on Tuesday... and i'm scared as fuck haha i know im overreacting but it would be amazing for college if i got in so i want to make it count. Also it's free. :la:

Basically what i want to know is what i should do at the actually meeting. I have all the apropos artwork, studies, still lifes and prints ect. but what are they going to ask me? should i prepare like a bullshit speech or something? i have absolutely no experience, haha. What should i say?

And i mean, this is for inner-city sophomore and junior high school students... it's not like everyone's gonna have professional-level stuff, right? o__o RIGHT? ohgodhelpme

I have a question!

I never actually tried using Prismacolor pencils and such. I heard they're as expensive as Copics, though.

Are they worth it? I'd very much like to try. o.o!!!

Prismacolor markers are cheaper than copics. I haven't found any colored pencils more expensive though. I think Copic has cornered the market for markers, but for everything else, once you go prismacolor, you'll never go back. Throw away your Prang crayola shit and get some REAL art supplies. *manly grunt* hahah
